Ending 2009

Well, the last day of 2009 may be tomorrow, but I'm a little sad about that. This past year was one of the happiest of my life, and I'm sure Daniel would say the same. It was our year in the sense that we grew so much together and took each other as husband & wife. We have been married for about four and a half months now, and it is just gets better. He is my best friend, my teammate, my partner, my love, my backbone, and my everything. I am so excited about our future together, even if the next twenty years will be mostly directed by the Marines, lol. 2010 is going to be a crazy busy year for us. Daniel (hopefully) has his last semester of college and will graduate in May. He will, also, be working on and (hopefully) getting his private pilot's license. In May alongside graduation, Daniel will commission as a 2nd lieutenant for the United States Marine Corps and will hopefully spend a couple months working for the OSO office. Around the beginning of July, we will pack up and move to Quantico, Virginia for 6+ months for The Basic School. I'm excited to start this journey of my husband becoming an aviator for the Marines. I know he will love it, and I look forward to doing all I can to support him through everything. Also, we will hopefully be able to experience our first white Christmas together at the end of 2010, which we would both love. It will be a totally new and different climate than what I'm used to here in Texas that we will have to adapt to, but I don't mind as long as I have plenty of ways to stay warm. =)

Enjoy the last couple days of 2009 and remember your best moments from the year.
